This course was designed with consultation from Te Reo o Taranaki. The purpose of the course is to develop an awareness of the Taranaki Māori community through a basic overview of Treaty of Waitangi principles, regional history, marae tikanga, basic greetings in te reo, Taranaki waka and iwi, and basic waiata and karakia.
